As an initial step in establishing islands of excellence that operate in the mold of export processing and other economic zones, these studies aim to establish the factors that work against successful trade in emerging economies.
It analyses the capacity of participating countries in meeting World Trade Organization responsibilities and aims to set the basis for institutional strengthening activities to improve system-wide implementation and management of trade activities. The program is piloted in Nigeria.
